Every couple of days, Eco and I pass through the local school yard during our walk. Besides the atrocious amount of garbage that litters the grounds there can be some interesting things - like part of toys left behind or sidewalk chalk drawings. But the efforts of many little fingers also do things like dig - and many of the trees on the grounds have deeper than normal grooves around them, and many trees have the bark picked off etc.
But yesterday morning was a rather fun experience - this is what I saw:

puddle. Who knew it would dry up and leave a little depression that one or more children would decide they'd fill with pine cones, acorn and walnut shells? Isn't it rather fascinating?
